MQS Representation in Georgia is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Mechanical Engineer.

Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: 3 600 GEL (Net)


** Masters or Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
** Fluent writing and speaking skills in English and Russian
** Work experience in relevant sphere at least for 2 years
** Experience with multi-function high performance equipment
** Strong Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat skills, including the use of macros, styles, document properties, etc.

General Responsibilities:


** Produce Quotations in a timely manner as per the instructions of client and complete the wrork within budget
** Produce Method Statements
** Ensure ompany and Client all HSE Procedures are enforced at all times and conduct Toolbox Talks and site safety inspections. Be fully aware of the site SSOW procedures and ensure all permis and safety instructions are followed and all activities controlled properly
** Ensure project specifications are correctly applied carry out site inspections. Visiting BP sites for survey and monitoring site works.
** Manage projects using good engineering principles and techniques including accurate estimates of personnel equipment and materials. Preparing sketches.
** Plan work details using specifications as required whilst considering the implications of costs, safety and time constraint. Identify and cost saving methods and procedures.
** Ensure the maintenance of machinery and tools is being carried out and tools and equipment are in safe working order. Co-ordinate supplies of materials and machinery.
** Attend meeting and liaise with the Client and engineering specialists to resolve technical issues by reviewing related information, evaluating options and implement solutions.
** Take part to procedure detailed planning schedules for projects.
** Hold daily meetings with your direct reports and others as required so that they understand the scope and duration of tasks.
** Complete appraisal of individuals, and organisations to make improvement or take corrective actions.
