1. Senior Java Developer
About the Project
The innovative project develops a tool for insurance underwriters to create policies for medium-sized corporates and to provide support along the complete underwriting flow related to document creation or saving data into the administrative system. The tool is in productive use, but further challenges await to roll it out to further countries, lines of business and users, and how to merge the new requirements to the already existing features. You will play an important role in extending the backend capabilities.
The project is built on a microservices architecture and uses Java 25, Spring Boot 3, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka as its core technology stack.
What You`ll Be Doing:
** Developing and implementing complex software applications based on event-driven architecture with Java and Spring.
** Collaborating within cross-functional agile teams throughout the entire SDLC.

2. Senior Backend Developer
About the Project
Our project focuses on commercial insurance pricing solutions for medium- to large-sized insurance companies. The technical foundation of our work is a microservice architecture using Java, Kotlin, and Spring on the backend; Angular, Node.js, Express, and Fastify on the frontend; Python for the model core; and Kafka for event-driven architectures.
Storage solutions include PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Blob, and AWS S3.
The specific project you will join is data-centric, integrating pricing data from various source systems into a unified operational data store, with a focus on PostgreSQL, microservices, and Kafka.
About the role
You will work as part of a collaborative team of senior backend developers to integrate new upstream systems and data into the operational data store. You will help deliver streamlined data products to business users in a fast, reliable, and user-friendly manner, while maintaining the overall quality and performance of the platform.
Your responsibilities:
** Designing, implementing, unit testing, and documenting complex software applications based on REST microservices using Kotlin, Java, Spring, JUnit, and Kafka, ensuring data quality and interface performance in a PostgreSQL-based operational data store.
** Collaborating within our SAFe framework, taking an active role in your agile team, and coordinating proactively with other teams throughout the SDLC.
** Applying development best practices to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through structured code reviews, automated testing, and cloud-aligned design.
** Monitoring product quality and ensuring proper code validation and application of design patterns.
** Promoting technical discussions within the team to drive continuous product improvement.
