We are proud to announce the upcoming opening of Art Riverfront Hotel in Tbilisi, scheduled for Summer 2026. The property will feature 152 guest rooms, all day dining Restaurant, Bar, Terrace, Conference facilities and Gym designed to deliver a contemporary hospitality experience in Tbilisi.
We are currently looking for an Engineering Supervisor in Tbilisi who will support the Director of Engineering in overseeing daily technical operations, ensuring the proper maintenance and functionality of all hotel systems and equipment. The role involves supervising maintenance activities, ensuring safety and compliance standards, and contributing to efficient operations while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for guests and employees.
Key responsibilities of the Engineering Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
** Supporting the Director of Engineering in ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations of the department;
** Supervising preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house;
** Monitoring and maintaining all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other technical systems;
** Ensuring proper use, maintenance, and repair of all equipment, machinery, and operational assets;
** Maintaining accurate records, logs, and reports related to maintenance activities and engineering operations;
** Assisting in inventory management of spare parts, tools, and equipment;
** Monitoring energy consumption and supporting energy-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements;
** Coordinating and supervising contractors and external service providers to ensure work meets required standards;
** Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, fire prevention standards, and occupational health policies;
** Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations;
** Supporting technical projects, renovations, and equipment installations as required;
** Conducting regular inspections of all technical areas to ensure proper functionality and safety;
** Assisting in training and guiding engineering team members to improve performance and technical skills;
** Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations;
** Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations;
** Ensure effective tracking and enforcement of preventive maintenance programs to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
** Monitor and implement energy-saving measures and efficiency initiatives to optimize resource consumption and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications:
** Proven experience in a similar Engineering role within a hotel or hospitality environment;
** Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing;
** Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities;
** Good organizational and time-management skills;
** Good communication and interpersonal skills;
** Fluency in Georgian; English language skills are preferred;
** Basic computer skills (MS Office preferred); experience with maintenance systems (BMS/CMMS) is an advantage;
