MEDLOG Poti is pleased to announce an opening for Expeditor`s position.
General Requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree in logistics will be an advantage.
** Minimum 1 year of experience preferably in logistics related field.
** Knowledge of railway formalities for container transportation will be an advantage.
** Fluency in English and Russian.
** Proficient user of MS office, Windows.
** Effective Business and Interpersonal communication skills.
** Self-organized and able to work under pressure.
** Ability to work independently as well as a team member;
** Interest in Shipping, Logistics and Forwarding Industry (working experience in this field is an advantage).
Short Job Description:
** Prepare transportation documents (railway, road) and ensure they comply with customs legislation.
** Perform customs formalities as required by law and submit them along with supporting documents (packing list, invoice, specification, bill of lading).
** Ensure the timely and high-quality processing and dispatch of transport and cargo.
** Maintain constant communication with the fleet manager, operations team, and customer service teams.
** Prepare documentation for cargo to be loaded, dispatched, or received at the terminal to ensure uninterrupted movement, and hand it over to the relevant parties (e.g., truck operators).
** Maintain daily records and reports of dispatched, received, or expected cargo for the fleet manager.
** Send all requested information to relevant stakeholders (e.g., clients, Medlog Poti, customs, other terminals) in the agreed format and within the specified deadlines.
** Prepare declarations, re-export documents, certificates, and other required documentation for company and/or client cargo based on proper authorization.
** Stay informed about import/export laws, procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions in relevant countries.
** File all documents as required or instructed by the company.
