Social, Video & Voice of Kings.
Full-time - Flexible hours
If your camera roll is full of things you`ve made, you instinctively know why one video travels and another dies, and you`ve been quietly wishing a brand would just let you run; this might be the role you didn`t know you were looking for. Here`s the honest truth about where we are: our social media only wakes up when a project is live, and when it does, it mostly posts an announcement with a standard graphic. It works. We`re good at putting the right message in front of the right audience but it has no pulse. No spirit. That`s the gap this role exists to close. We want Kings to feel alive all year round, and we want you to be the person who makes it happen. We`re not looking for a finished expert, we`re looking for someone creative, fast, and hungry to grow real ownership of something important, with us, fr om an early stage.
The Role:
What you`ll actually do:
Give us a voice:
Turn our channels fr om an announcement board into something with personality content people actually want to follow, whether or not a competition is running that week. (We`ve got targeting and ads covered in-house, so that`s not your worry your world is creating and building genuine organic reach and engagement.)
Make video the centre of everything:
Every season we capture real moments students lit up at award ceremonies, the tension and joy of test day and barely use any of it. You`ll turn that into actual video: promo films, short-form for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, maybe even a recurring on-camera face of Kings. This is the heart of the role.
Direct content across countries:
You`ll build the creative strategy here at HQ, then brief our local representatives to capture the raw material, say, short student or teacher interviews fr om a few schools in each country and cut the pieces into one polished global promo. You set the vision; the countries feed you footage.
Create with AI text and video:
You`ll lean hard on AI tools, not just to write but to produce and edit video at the pace a full season across many countries demands. This is central, not optional.
Connect social to the product:
Work with our web site on things built to be shared, share buttons for a medal, trophy, or diploma, and the gamification we`re planning for the Olympiad. You`ll spot the moments worth sharing and help make them shareable by design.
Set the creative style:
Give each project a fresh, coherent look and voice, and review our existing communications with a critical eye. The copy itself mostly stays; it doesn`t need rewriting but you`ll breathe fresh style into it, and AI handles rolling those changes across the full set. Think creative direction, not a content factory.
Work with our designer: When something needs designing, you`ll brief and collaborate directly.
Be a real teammate:
We`re still a startup, still shaping wh ere things go. You`ll be in the brainstorms, the "what if we tried…" conversations contributing beyond your own lane.
The Fit:
What we`re looking for:
** A social-media native who genuinely gets trends
** You live on these platforms, you feel wh ere attention is moving, and you understand what makes short-form video spread.
** Real skill with AI tools including video
** You use AI to create, not just to write. You can take an idea and turn it into a finished video, fast.
Video instincts:
** Comfortable recording and editing or a quick learner who`s clearly already been making things.
** A creative eye and a feel for brand voice
** You can give something personality and keep it consistent across everything.
** Fluent English
** Clear and confident.
** Comfort with technology and systems
** You pick up new tools quickly and aren`t intimidated by them.
** Taste and care
** You notice when something feels off, and you fix it.
Nice to Have:
Bonus points:
** A personal track record. A TikTok or YouTube channel, an Instagram page you ran, videos you`ve made, a blog you`ve written anything. We care far more that you`ve actually done it than wh ere you did it.
** Copywriting ability — you could give real signature and style to our emails and SMS.
** Basic design skills (Canva, Figma, or similar).
** A second (or third) language, especially one we operate in.
The Offer:
This might be you if…
** You`re a strong 3rd- or 4th-year student (or a recent graduate) who isn`t tied down right now and wants to pour your energy into something that matters. You`re creative, you learn fast, and you`d rather build something with personality than fill a small role.
** You`ve probably already been making content on your own for fun, for a project, for a page you run and you`re excited by the idea of doing it at scale, for a brand reaching students across many countries.
The details:
Around 40 hours a week, with flexible scheduling that can work around university commitments.
You`ll be part of a close, energetic, young team that supports you, challenges you, and celebrates the wins together. Come as you are enthusiastic, dependable, and ready to grow with us."Send us a motivational letter to email - who you are, why this role speaks to you, and (if you have one) anything you`ve made, solved, or competed in that you`re proud of: info@kingsolympiad.com
Send us an email who you are, why this role speaks to you, and (this one matters) a link to something you`ve made: a video, a page, a channel, anything you`re proud of.
