A Canadian group of companies Mortgage Investment Group & Elite Factor Group Inc is hiring a English-Speaking Finance and Operations Manager for a full remote position.

Compensation

** 5, 000 GEL - 6, 000 GEL net base wage.
** Compensation will be based on the successful candidate`s bookkeeping, financial, operational and management experience.

Candidates entering primarily as senior bookkeepers or financial administrators would generally fall toward the lower portion of the range. Candidates with significant management, financial-services and operational experience may fall toward the upper portion.

Compensation should be reviewed as the role expands and the individual assumes greater operational and managerial responsibility.

Position Overview

The Finance and Operations Manager will initially be responsible for the bookkeeping, banking administration and financial recordkeeping functions of Mortgage Investment Group (MIG) and Elite Factor Group Inc. The role will also assume selected administrative and operational responsibilities currently managed by the Chief Operating Officer.

As the successful candidate becomes familiar with the companies` operations and demonstrates strong managerial capability, the position will progressively expand to include staff coordination, operational oversight and participation in daily management meetings.

The primary objectives of this role are to reduce the administrative and operational workload currently carried by the Chief Operating Officer, strengthen financial and operational processes and create additional management capacity to support future growth.

This is a developing position. The successful candidate will initially focus heavily on bookkeeping and financial administration, with the opportunity to assume greater operational and managerial responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities

** Maintain accurate and current bookkeeping records for MIG and Elite Factor Group Inc.
** Record financial transactions, payments, receipts, deposits and journal entries.
** Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
** Prepare bank and credit-card reconciliations.

** Maintain cheque registers and payment records.
** Monitor bank balances and upcoming payment obligations.
** Coordinate deposits, transfers and routine banking activities.
** Ensure all payments are properly documented and supported before processing.
** Follow established authorization limits and internal financial controls.

Internal control requirement: The Finance and Operations Manager will not have unrestricted authority to independently prepare, approve and reconcile the same transaction. Final payment approval and signing authority will remain with designated members of management or ownership.

Administrative Support

** Assume selected administrative duties currently handled by the Chief Operating Officer.
** Organize and maintain operational, financial and corporate records.
** Prepare reports, correspondence, meeting materials and follow-up documentation.
** Track outstanding tasks, deadlines and management commitments.
** Coordinate information between management, staff, accountants, legal counsel and external service providers.

** Follow up with employees to ensure assigned tasks are completed.
** Identify operational issues, delays, risks and process bottlenecks.
** Recommend practical improvements to workflows and internal controls.
** Assist with the preparation and review of operational reports and performance information.

Meetings and Staff Coordination

** Attend MIG`s daily 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. operational meetings.
** Attend applicable Elite management and operational meetings.
** Prepare meeting agendas, reports and outstanding-action lists.
