The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Georgia, under the Inclusive Access to Markets (IA2M) project, is launching a new support programme for Georgian SMEs. The programme is designed to help SMEs to evaluate their current level of digitalisation, and identify key strengths, gaps, and development needs. It serves as a diagnostic tool to support the design of tailored digitalisation plans aimed at improving business performance, operational efficiency, and market access, including opportunities to engage with EU markets.

Title: SME Digitalisation Support Programme for Georgian Small and Medium Enterprises

Participating SMEs will benefit from:

(1) Digital Maturity Assessment

Each SME will undergo a structured assessment of their current level of digital maturity across six key dimensions: Digital Business Strategy, Digital Readiness, Digital Skills Improvement, Data Management & Cybersecurity, Automation & Intelligence, and Green Digitalisation. The assessment will identify strengths, gaps, and development needs for each enterprise.

(2) Tailored Digitalisation Plan and Recommendations

Each assessed enterprise will receive a personalised Digitalisation Plan providing a clear and prioritised set of recommendations across the six assessment dimensions. The plan will be calibrated to the enterprise`s size, sector, current digital maturity level, and EU market access ambitions, and will identify specific tools, platforms, or capability investments recommended for each area.

Note #1: The assessment and recommendations are provided free of charge. By submitting this application, you express interest in participating in the programme and agree to take part in interviews, be visited by a consultant, and provide any additional information needed to ensure a thorough and accurate assessment.

Note #2: A new co-financing (grant) programme under the Innovation Challenge Call will be announced to support SMEs in implementing the recommended measures.

Interested SMEs are invited to participate in the competitive selection process by submitting an application at the following link: https://forms.gle/TqpLUQafR6r8EyGVA

The deadline for submitting applications is July 31, 2026.

The initiative is funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Georgia) under the `Inclusive Access to Markets` project.
