The Lawyer at New Life is responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of company operations, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, and safeguarding the legal integrity of all arrangements involving intended parents (IPs), surrogates, donors, and service providers. This role requires strict confidentiality, meticulous attention to detail, and professional handling of highly sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
** Provide legal guidance on all IVF, surrogacy, and reproductive health matters
** Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies
** Monitor legal developments and advise management on updates, risks, and required adjustments
** Support proactive risk management strategies and regulatory adherence
** Maintain a secure, comprehensive, and confidential registry of Intended Parents (IPs)
** Support intended parents to obtain birth certificates or represent them in court if necessary.
** Draft, review, and manage all agreements for programs and services
** Coordinate and oversee notarization of contracts and documents required for program confirmation
** Ensure all agreements are properly executed, validated, and legally enforceable
** Maintain accurate records and archives, and update contracts as necessary based on changes in law or policy
** Prepare and review legal documentation required for permits, operational licenses, and facility registrations if needed.
** Coordinate with governmental authorities, notaries, and external legal partners to ensure legal compliance
** Represent New Life Georgia in disputes, mediations, or negotiations
** Coordinate with external counsel for litigation or court representation as needed
** Advise management on legal best practices and risk mitigation strategies
Skills and Qualifications:
** Education in law and Proven work experience as a corporate lawyer
** Interpersonal skills to work with variety of people each day, build relationship and network
** Confidence and strong self-assuredness
** Highly motivated and result driven
** Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
** Advance knowledge of English is a must
