We are a Chinese company and preparing to launch the first store of a lifestyle retail chain, offering a curated selection of apparel, bags, home goods, kitchen items, and stationery.

Our goal is to build a retail space that is more organized, higher-quality, and more sustainable than typical local stores in Tbilisi, with a clear vision for future chain expansion.

We are currently looking for a Local Operations Lead / Store Operations Manager to join us during the preparation, opening, and stabilization phase of the first store, and to contribute to building a scalable model for future locations.

Key Responsibilities

** Oversee daily operations of the first store and ensure smooth and efficient performance;
** Participate in the pre-opening phase, providing practical operational input and recommendations;
** Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Store Manager, and other key team members to ensure effective coordination between operations, marketing, and in-store execution;
** Support and manage store staff, including scheduling, training, and daily operational assistance;

Product and inventory management:

** Execution and maintenance of product display and visual order
** Inventory checks and loss control;

Cash register and data management:

** Daily operation of the POS system
** Basic sales reporting and analysis;
** Monitor customer service quality and ensure a professional and friendly shopping experience;
** Proactively identify operational issues and suggest practical improvements;
** Be hands-on in daily store operations when required.

Requirements

** Minimum 3 years of experience in offline retail, preferably in apparel, accessories, or lifestyle retail;
** Experience as a Store Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role;
** Solid understanding of daily store operations (staff, inventory, POS, merchandising);
** Practical knowledge of the Tbilisi retail market and local consumer behavior;
** Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with different teams;
** Flexibility and adaptability, especially during the early project stage;
** Experience with POS systems or willingness to learn quickly;
** English proficiency at a working communication level;
** Responsible, practical, and results-oriented mindset.

Project Information (Important)

** This position is related to the first store (pilot store) of a retail chain;
** The project is expected to move into full operational mode after June;
** If the candidate is currently employed, part-time, consulting, or flexible cooperation is possible during the initial phase;
** We welcome candidates who are interested in the project to start with discussions and mutual understanding before confirming the final cooperation format.

Compensation & Conditions

** Salary: to be discussed (competitive with the local market) + performance-based bonus
** Working format: Flexible involvement during the initial phase
** Full-time position after store launch
** Location: Tbilisi
