We`re hiring an IT Monitoring Engineer to help us build the future of iGaming.
Requirements
** Work in shifts to provide 24/7 monitoring coverage.
** Ability to analyze information from various sources and monitoring tools to detect trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
** Great communication skills - ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and liaise with different IT teams to resolve issues swiftly in chaotic situation
** Communication of issues clearly to both technical and non-technical parties.
** Strong troubleshooting abilities and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
** Passion for staying updated with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in the IT monitoring field.
** Ability to create and maintain documentation (in English) related to monitoring, incidents, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
** Monitor whole IT infrastructure including, but not limited to Servers, Network, Databases, Applications etc
** Brief analysis of the cause of alerts, performing initial troubleshooting and identifying potential issues.
** Alert relevant personnel and provide detailed information regarding alarms or problems.
** Collaborate with the IT team, Incident Manager and Problem Manager in development of alert escalation and incident response procedures.
** Detect and report false positives and optimize alerting accuracy.
** Assist in capacity planning and resource optimization efforts.
** Contribute to automation initiatives.
** Track and document incidents for further analysis and reporting.
** Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in IT monitoring.
Would be a Plus
** Experience with monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, Grafana
** Experience with Linux-based systems
** Understanding of IT environment and systems
