Position name: Accountant
About the open role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Georgian tax regulations, and adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
The Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage financial controls, and support both local and international transactions. You will play a key role in audits, financial monitoring, and process improvements, while also providing guidance to junior team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
** Control and record primary accounting documents (invoices, waybills, contracts) in the accounting software (Dynamics 365 Business Central / Navision) ;
** Perform banking operations and manage accounts payable/receivable, including ongoing monitoring;
** Participate in the preparation of tax declarations and statistical reports;
** Record and monitor contracts, with special focus on agreements with non-residents;
** Record international financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulations;
** Maintain accounting records of fixed assets and oversee the inventory process;
** Participate in tax and financial audit processes and provide necessary information.
Basic Requirements:
** 4+ years of work experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant;
** In-depth knowledge of the Georgian Tax Code and proven practical experience;
** Knowledge and practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
** Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Excel;
** English language proficiency at C1 level (Russian language knowledge is a plus);
