About the open role:
We are looking for a motivated Night Shift DevOps Engineer to support and maintain our cloud infrastructure during overnight operations. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in AWS services, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines, with some hands-on experience in containerization, security, and monitoring. This role specifically requires working night shifts to ensure 24/7 system reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities
** Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot production workloads during night operations;
** Support and optimize AWS infrastructure, including ECS/EKS, S3, CloudFront, Amplify, Load Balancers, WAF, Secrets Manager, and more;
** Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform; ** Manage and improve CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions;
** Configure monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch for proactive incident response; ** Assist with deployment automation, scaling, and system reliability;
** Collaborate with development and NOC/monitoring teams to resolve issues and improve processes; ** Escalate and document incidents, ensuring smooth handoff to day teams;
Basic Requirements:
** Proficiency in Terraform for IaC;
** Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation;
** Basic Linux, networking, and troubleshooting skills;
** Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently at night;
** Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with Dev and NOC/monitoring teams;
** Availability to work night shifts;
** Fluency in Georgian and English;
Work Schedule:
** Night Shift: Two 12-hour shifts Monday_Friday 21:00 to 09:00
** Weekends: Two 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday (09:00-21:00 & 21:00-09:00) - rotated among team
