Role Overview:
The Admin Assistant, Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing company financial records, payroll, and reporting. This is a high-level position requiring strong accounting knowledge and the ability to work independently with precision.
Responsibilities:
** Maintain accurate financial records for company operations.
** Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
** Record expenses, reconcile accounts, and ensure financial accuracy.
** Manage payroll and contractor payments.
** Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
** Ensure compliance with accounting and tax requirements.
** Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
Requirements:
** Proven experience in bookkeeping or financial administration.
** Strong proficiency in Xero accounting software (mandatory).
** High-level Excel/Google Sheets skills.
** Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
** Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
** Strong written and spoken English.
