Position Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for all financial, budgeting, reporting, and treasury functions of the stock exchange group. The CFO will play a vital strategic and operational role in the development of the exchange—supporting institutional growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and establishing a strong financial foundation for a sustainable and trustworthy market platform for investors.
The ideal candidate should possess both strong technical expertise in finance and accounting, as well as a deep understanding of capital markets, operational efficiency, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
** Manage the finance department and all subordinate functions
** Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and risk management practices within the company
** Oversee and manage financial and accounting operations
** Develop, implement, and control financial plans, balance sheets, and budget projects
** Prepare and present financial reports to regulatory authorities
** Prepare and present profit and loss statistics
** Develop and manage financial reporting processes within the company
** Implement and comply with new regulations/requirements issued by legislative bodies
** Participate directly in the company`s strategic processes
Qualifications:
** Higher education in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, Business Administration)
** Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate financial management, preferably in the banking or financial sector
** Knowledge of accounting systems
** Knowledge of financial reporting and documentation principles
** Familiarity with IFRS standards
** Experience with budgeting and profit & loss financial analysis
** Knowledge of normative acts and laws regulating financial activities of companies
** Good command of the Georgian and English languages
