Role Description:
The Golf Operations Supervisor is pivotal in maintaining the golf daily operations, managing the bag drop and guest arrival experience, the driving range, overseeing golf cart maintenance and staging, and ensuring facility cleanliness.
From time to time this role also involves assisting with on course services including marshalling and starting groups to enhance the overall golfing experience.
General Requirements:
** Manage the opening and/or closing of the golf operation facilities.
** Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all outdoor areas of the customer journey including the driving range bays and swing studio.
** Efficient operation and maintenance of the ball management system and Top tracer system.
Oversee the collection and management of range balls.
** Monitor and manage the GPS system and ensure a fair rotation of the golf cart fleet on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
** Monitor the pace of play on the course taking proactive action to ensure groups do not unduly hold up play.
** Be proactive in ensuring the presentation of the golf course is to the required standard throughout the day.
** Communicate effectively with the golf course maintenance team regarding any course abnormalities.
** Pro-actively encourage golfers to follow the rules of golf and etiquette on the course.
** Stay in regular communication with the golf operations team to ensure the smooth running of the golf operation.
Required Skills:
** Foreign Languages: Fluent English & Additional language skills is a Preference.
** Sociable, Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Result Oriented, Cheerful & Smiley Personality, Active & Enthusiastic, Team Player and Well Organized.
** Related work experience and knowledge.
** International Experience (is a preference).
