Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Assistant to support our commercial and business development operations in Georgia. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the construction industry while working in a dynamic and international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
** Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
** Assist in preparing and submitting business proposals, prequalification documents, and tender submissions.
** Maintain and update databases of clients, partners, leads, and opportunities using CRM tools.
** Coordinate meetings, site visits, and presentations with clients, contractors, and consultants.
** Support internal reporting, data analysis, and the preparation of performance dashboards.
** Monitor local construction projects, tenders, and industry developments for potential opportunities.
** Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth handover from proposal to execution.
** Provide administrative support to the Business Development team as required.
Qualifications:
** Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
** 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or project support (construction experience preferred).
** Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Georgian (Russian is a plus).
** Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems is a plus.
** Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
** A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail.
** Interest in the construction industry and willingness to learn technical aspects.
