About Improvado
Improvado is a leading B2B SaaS company helping marketing and revenue teams turn complex data into clear insights. Our platform automates marketing data pipelines by connecting hundreds of data sources into one unified reporting environment. Backed by top investors and used by Fortune 500 companies, we`re scaling fast and building a product-first, people-obsessed culture along the way.
We believe the future of internal operations is automation-first, AI-augmented, and radically efficient — and we`re building systems that reflect that vision.
About the Role
We`re looking for a highly motivated IT Automation Specialist / Engineer to help streamline internal IT and business workflows through automation, smart tooling, and no-code/low-code platforms. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, has hands-on technical skills, and loves solving problems through creative automation.
You`ll be joining a small but mighty InfoSec & IT team, supporting internal operations across departments like HR, Finance, Legal, and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
** Build and maintain internal automation workflows using tools like Make, Notion, etc.
** Develop and document automation blueprints to streamline onboarding, offboarding, device management, access provisioning, etc.
** Troubleshoot and debug integrations, webhooks, and data sync issues
** Collaborate with IT, HR, Ops, and Engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities
** Support internal users and help troubleshoot Level 1-2 automation-related issues
** Maintain documentation and SOPs for all automation processes
** Contribute to our internal knowledge base and process improvement efforts
Must-Have Qualifications:
** 1-3 years of hands-on experience in IT, operations, or automation engineering
** Practical experience with Make (Integromat), Zapier, or similar platforms
** Familiarity with Google Workspace administration, Notion, and basic scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or regex)
** Clear communicator, able to document and explain workflows
** Strong attention to detail, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks
Nice-to-Haves:
** Experience automating business processes in SaaS startups
** Background in InfoSec, Compliance, or IT Operations
** Comfort working with APIs, webhooks, and JSON data structures
** Familiarity with JIRA and HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Gusto)
** Curiosity about agentic AI systems (e.g. AI agents, LLM-driven workflows, copilots) — direct experience not required, but interest and potential are highly valued
What We Offer:
** Fully remote work with a strong async culture
** 27 days of PTO per year
** US holidays and additional days off
** Opportunity to build scalable internal systems at a fast-growing tech company
** Career growth across IT, InfoSec, and Automation domains
** Access to learning & development tools
** Friendly, transparent, and supportive team culture
** Ownership, autonomy, and a chance to make a real impact
