Role Overview
We`re looking for a hands-on and versatile Operations Lead — to drive and refine our operational backbone while bridging gaps between business functions. You`ll be a key enabler of our scalability, maturity, and performance, driving initiatives across many business functions such as operations, finance, sales coordination, business support, and process development.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from the ground up, and is eager to grow alongside a passionate team shaping the future of IT and data in Life Sciences. Important MIGx culture is to work onsite, this position is a key role and 100% onsite presence is expected.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management
** Oversee and continuously improve day-to-day business operations and service delivery workflows driving the way we deliver in alignment with the delivery team and industry standards.
** Develop scalable, efficient processes to support company growth
** Manage vendor relationships, contract management, and procurement activities
** Lead internal initiatives to streamline collaboration tools, reporting, and automation
Business Process Maturation
• Map, analyse, and refine internal processes across departments (operations, finance, sales, project delivery)
• Define and implement SOPs, KPIs, and quality standards
• Identify operational bottlenecks and propose pragmatic, scalable solutions
Sales & Business Support
** Collaborate with sales and client leads to support quoting, proposals, and reporting
** Coordinate onboarding of new clients, projects, and resources
** Act as liaison between commercial and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery readiness
** Support the creation of the appropriate templates for sales & business development
Financial Operations
** Support budgeting, invoicing, and cost tracking in collaboration with finance
** Monitor resource utilization and project margins, provide insights to leadership
** Contribute to forecasting, profitability analysis, and pricing frameworks
Cross-functional Leadership
** Work closely with leadership to align strategic priorities and translate them into actionable operations plans
** Act as a sparring partner for decision-making across departments
** Help foster a performance-oriented yet supportive culture
Requirements - Must have:
** Degree in Management
** 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, business management, or project delivery (ideally in IT, consulting, and pharma/life sciences)
** Experience in leading or growing the department/organisation up to 200 employees
** Strong grasp of business processes, financials, and systems thinking
** Familiarity with data analysis and BI tools
** Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
** Comfortable wearing multiple hats and thriving in a fast-changing environment
** Natural collaborator, communicator, and hands-on implementer
** Experience with startup or scale-up environments is a strong plus
** Fluent in English (both oral and writing)
