We are currently hiring for the following position: AP Statistics Teacher
We are looking for AP Statistics Teacher who can guide students through topics in descriptive and inferential statistics, supporting their readiness for AP-level coursework and data-driven analysis.
Requirements:
** Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
** Strong command of English
** Experience in teaching statistics at the high school or undergraduate level
** Ability to integrate digital tools and real-world examples
Experience:
** Experience in teaching statistics at the high school or undergraduate level
** Familiarity with AP Statistics course framework and exam preparation (preffered)
** Proficiency in statistical data interpretation, probability, and hypothesis testing
** Experience preparing students for the AP Statistics exam is a plus
Knowledge and Skills:
** Strong understanding of data distributions, sampling methods, experimental design, and statistical inference
** Proficiency in using graphing calculators and statistical software tools
** Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
** Readiness to work within structured school environments while aligning with administrative procedures and institutional quality standards
** Ability to collaborate with school administration to support program goals and maintain consistency in delivery
** Flexibility in creating an inclusive, adaptive learning environment that meets the needs of diverse learners
** Willingness to integrate school-provided training materials into instruction and apply ongoing professional development in classroom practice
Professional Responsibilities:
** Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for AP Statistics
** Prepare students through:
** Practice problems, data analysis tasks, and FRQs (free-response questions)
** Use of technology and simulations to model statistical concepts
** Real-world data investigations and classroom discussions
** Maintain consistent communication with students, families, and school leadership
** Attend important trainings
** Contribute to school-wide events, faculty meetings, and collaborative planning
** Monitor and assess student progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and presentations
