Operating through wholly owned subsidiaries in 18 countries, we specialize in the import and export of IT equipment worldwide, frequently acting as Importer or Exporter of Record on behalf of our clients. Our operations rely on small, expert teams dedicated to ensuring professional and compliant shipment handling.
For our office in Georgia we are looking for a Customs Compliance Manager
Responsibilities:
** Dealing mainly with business in Europe;
** Manage the process of clearance and goods transportation
** Review and manage import documentation, including CE certificates, declarations of conformity, and permits
** Classify products and assign correct HS codes
** Identify potential risks in the clearance process and resolve them in a timely manner
** Interaction with suppliers, carriers, transport logistics, multimodal transportation;
** Calculation of payments and duties, timely correction of data;
** Full calculation of the entire cost of import operations;
** Maintaining internal reporting on customs clearance and release of goods;
** Adaptation of technical documents required for customs clearance;
Qualifications:
** Bachelor`s degree or higher
** Minimum 2 years` experience in a similar role
** Experience in managing customs clearance procedures is mandatory
** Solid knowledge of various cargo types and freight forwarding processes
** Strong command of English (verbal and written) is mandatory
** Proven ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines
