Our client, an international freight forwarding and logistics company, is now looking for an experienced Customs clearance declarant (licensed/non-licensed) in Tbilisi, Batumi, Poti. The company has been providing freight forwarding, warehousing and customs clearance services since the 1960`s and continues to keep a stable position in the market.
Customs Declarant
Daily duties:
** Timely processing of customs documentation and data entry into the computer
** Obtaining and processing information from transport documents required for customs procedures
** Monitoring and retrieval of customs documentation
** Ensuring timely customs clearance of goods in accordance with applicable customs regulations
** Communication with the customs office - processing of declarations
** Communication with customers and carriers
What is required:
** Completed secondary education
** Previous experience as a customs clearance declarant is essential
** User knowledge of working on a PC (MS Office)
** Able to communicate in English language (verbal, written communication)
** Additional language knowledge is an advantage
** Driver`s license
** Good communication skills
** Reliability, responsibility, diligence
