Wine Operations & Sales Manager

We are looking for a hands-on and versatile professional to manage and coordinate the full lifecycle of our wine business — from vineyard and production support through to sales, logistics, compliance, and market development.

This is a practical, execution-focused role for someone who can take ownership across multiple areas and ensure the smooth running of the business end-to-end.

Responsibilities:

** Vineyard and Production Coordination
** Visit vineyards and work closely with the vineyard manager
** Coordinate with winemaking consultants
** Participate in tastings and assist with wine evaluation and notes
** Support decisions around production and product readiness
** Product Preparation and Compliance
** Assist with finalisation of wine labels
** Manage wine certifications, licences, and regulatory requirements
** Liaise with wine agencies and relevant authorities
** Sales and Business Development
** Identify and develop local and international sales opportunities
** Build and maintain relationships with restaurants, hotels, distributors, and key buyers
** Develop and execute sales strategies
** Conduct client meetings, tastings, and presentations
** Achieve sales targets and expand distribution channels
** Logistics and Operations
** Coordinate stock management and inventory reviews
** Manage order processing, shipping, and deliveries
** Assist with import/export procedures and compliance
** Support vine orders and related logistics
** Marketing and Brand Support
** Assist with marketing activities, events, and brand promotion
** Support social media, website, and PR initiatives
** Represent the company at tastings, events, and trade shows
** Reporting and Administration
** Track sales, performance, and market feedback
** Monitor market trends and competitor activity
** Handle documentation, invoices, and administrative processes
** Liaise with partners, agencies, and government bodies

Requirements:

** Experience in the wine industry (sales, operations, or production)
** Strong understanding of vineyard/winemaking processes is a plus
** Highly organized and proactive, with a hands-on mindset
** Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across different functions
** Strong communication and relationship-building skills
** Willingness to travel (locally and internationally if required)
** Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage)
