Published: 01 October / Deadline: 15 October
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Georgia, under the Inclusive Access to Markets (IA2M) project, is launching a new support programme for Georgian SMEs. The programme is designed to help SMEs assess their current sustainable consumption and production (SCP) practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and introduce practical measures that enhance sustainability and efficiency.

Participating SMEs will benefit from:

(1) Assessment of current sustainable consumption and production (SCP) practices
A selected consultant will visit the SME`s premises to conduct interviews and evaluate existing sustainability practices. This will help identify what sustainable consumption and production (SCP) measures are already in place and their current level of application. During the assessment phase, the consultant may also request certain information (e.g., on production processes, energy or material use, or waste management), and SMEs are expected to share this information as needed to enable a thorough and accurate assessment.

(2) Customized sustainability report with recommendations
Each SME will receive a brief tailored report with 2-4 practical and relatively easy-to-implement recommendations. These may include actions related to reducing or reusing waste, improving energy efficiency, adopting sustainable packaging, or other relevant measures.

Note #1: The assessment and recommendations are provided free of charge. By submitting this application, you express interest to participate in the programme and agree to take part in interviews, be visited by a consultant, and provide any additional information needed to ensure a thorough and accurate assessment.

Note #2: A new co-financing (grant) programme under the Innovation Challenge Call will be announced to support SMEs in implementing the recommended SCP measures.

Interested SMEs are invited to complete the application form at the following link https://forms.gle/WbghXTUPL5sExUmM9

Application deadline: October 15.

The initiative is funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Georgia) under the `Inclusive Access to Markets` project.
