Due to the growing number of projects under implementation, we are aiming to incorporate a Project Assistant/Translator.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

IRD Engineering - Georgian Branch

We are looking for a motivated and proactive person to work in international environment. A person who has a genuine desire to learn and explore. With international team, a range of interesting challenges are on plate.

Project Assistant/Translator will be responsible for administrative and logistic aspects of the project office in Sagarejo.

As a Translator, responsibilities include reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools and proofreading finished pieces of work. To be successful in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in English language in addition to your native language as the work language is English.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

** Support Project Implementation Department and actively cooperate with other departments, as well as with external stakeholders.
** Translate written correspondence from English into Georgian and from Georgian into English. Correspondence includes but is not limited to letters, e-mails, minutes of meetings, agreements, reports, invoices, advertisements etc.
** Organize logistic of International/National Staff (e.g. transport, accommodation, etc) ;
** Organize, schedule and follow-up meetings and appointments;
** Ordering stationary;
** Serve as interpreter at meetings if necessary.
** Perform a number of other similar or related duties which may not be specifically included within this position description, but which are consistent with the general level of the job and the responsibilities described.

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:

** At least 3 years of proven experience as a Translator/Project Assistant /Office Manager. Experience in Technical field is an asset.
** Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.
** Good knowledge of content editing tools.
** Familiarity with translation software.
** Ability to work to deadlines.
** Ability to grasp new concepts e.g. technical terms.
** A clear writing style.
** Advanced computer skills and experience with online platforms
** Proficiency Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems

** Flexibility;
** Ability to multitask and prioritize work;
** Good communication skills.
