Position:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Economics Teacher to deliver the Cambridge International A-Level program (candidates with experience teaching IGCSE & Pre-A-Level are also welcome). Your role goes beyond theory—you`ll help students develop critical thinking, data analysis, economic modeling, evidence-based argumentation, and a deep understanding of global economic systems, preparing them for A-Level exams and top universities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

** Teaching: Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with the Cambridge A-Level Economics syllabus, covering Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Economic Development, and applied modules (case studies, economic forecasting, policy evaluation, entrepreneurial decision-making).
** Assessment: Design, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback on coursework, mock exams, and assessments using Cambridge International standards.
** Differentiated Instruction: Adapt materials and activities to diverse learning styles and paces, offering individualized and group support to maximize student outcomes.
** Skill Development: Foster independent thinking, real-world application of knowledge, and critical analysis of economic data and trends.
** Collaboration: Work closely with department colleagues to refine curriculum and share best practices.
Professional Growth: Participate in workshops, conferences, and peer observations to enhance teaching methodologies.

Requirements:

** Expertise: Strong grasp of micro/macroeconomics, including modern theories (behavioral economics, game theory, policy analysis) and quantitative methods (data interpretation, financial reports).
** Teaching Skills: Ability to simplify complex concepts using real-world case studies (market crises, global trends) and interactive methods (debates, simulations, projects). Experience with active learning and formative assessment techniques.
** Student-Centered Approach: Commitment to creating a supportive environment where mistakes are part of learning.
Communication:Fluency in English (C1+) to explain intricate ideas clearly; effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff.
** Innovation: Willingness to integrate modern EdTech tools and develop original resources.

Qualifications & Experience:

** Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
** Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, Cambridge International Diploma).
** 2+ years teaching A-Level/IB Economics in English.
** Exam preparation expertise (course design, mock tests, rubric alignment).

Preferred:

** Experience with academic sources and English-language textbooks.
** Teaching 15-18-year-olds in international/bilingual settings.
** Familiarity with Cambridge A-Level requirements.
