We are currently hiring for the following position: Physics Teacher

Saint George`s International School is seeking a qualified and motivated Physics Teacher to join our American High school Diploma Program. The ideal candidate will teach physics at a high academic level through experimental, conceptual, and problem-solving approaches aligned with the NGSS and AP Physics frameworks.

Education and Certification:

** Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field
** Valid teaching certification/license in Science or Physics (preferred)
** English Proficiency: Minimum B2 level, preferably C1

Experience:

** Teaching experience at the secondary level
** Familiarity with: Newtonian Mechanics, Waves, Electricity, and Magnetism, Energy, Momentum, and Thermodynamics, Experimental design and lab safety
** Experience with AP Physics or U.S.-based curriculum is an advantage

Knowledge and Skills:

** Strong theoretical and applied physics knowledge
** Ability to deliver both inquiry-based and direct instruction effectively
** Skilled in using lab equipment and simulation tools
** Capable of differentiating instruction to meet a range of student needs

Professional Responsibilities:

** Design and implement lessons aligned with NGSS and AP standards
** Conduct engaging lab experiments and encourage scientific investigation
** Prepare students for AP Physics exams through guided practice and feedback
** Maintain regular communication with families and school staff
** Participate actively in department collaboration and school-wide initiatives
