Stamba Hotel will open its doors in 2017 and is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Room Attendant.

Title: Room Attendant
Department: Housekeeping
Reports to: Housekeeping Manager / Housekeeping Manager Assistant / Housekeeping Supervisor

Position scope: To service all allocated section of guest bedrooms to Holiday Inn standards, and ensure corridor sections are clean and tidy.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

** Complying with administrative principles and views;
** Attentive enough to control several tasks simultaneously;
** Excellent communication skills;
** Interpersonal Skills;
** Good organizational skills;
** Ability to motivate and direct others;
** Attentive to details;

Responsibilities:

** To service all allocated rooms daily to the Stamba Hotel standards;
** To ensure all floor keys are signed in and out daily;
** To ensure all lost property items are handed in to the Accommodation Services Office and logged correctly;
** To be responsible for the cleanliness of corridor section, including carpet, skirtings, pictures, ledges, chairs and tables;
** To carry out frequency cleaning of bedspreads, shower curtains, under blankets and pillow protectors and record on the charts in the Accommodation Services Office;
** To complete requisition form at the end of each shift to ensure trolley is stocked to required level;
** To report all maintenance faults following the correct Holiday Inn standards;
** To be familiar with all Company Health & Safety and chemical handling requirements and to carry out duties in accordance with these procedures;
** To ensure all equipment is maintained, and report any faults to maintenance;
** To ensure all reject linen is correctly identified;
** To carry out and follow through any special requests or services from a guest;

General: Hotel`s Fire, Health and Safety Procedures.
