Call for papers for the second issue of the Georgian Law Journal

Following the successful publication of its inaugural issue in 2017, the editorial board of the Georgian Law Journal is pleased to announce the call for papers for the second issue of the journal. The papers shall be in line with the mission of the journal as described in its mission statement:

"Promotion of Georgia`s European aspirations through providing an expert overview of the important legal developments pertaining to the rule of law, human rights & democracy, free market economy, Europeanization of the legal culture & legal education, and the approximation with the European Union law (contained in the acquis communautaire)."

A paper of approximately 3,000 words shall be submitted to the editorial board by e-mail at: editors@georgianlawjournal.org no later than 30 June 2018. Submitted papers shall comply with the following submission guidelines:

Languages: While the journal is bilingual, submissions should ideally be in English as it is more convenient for the journal to translate English submissions into Georgian. Nevertheless, if chosen for publication, the journal will also arrange for translation of Georgian submissions into English.

Word limit: Articles should in principle not exceed 3,000 words, including footnotes, abstract and author details.

Style guidelines:

** Format: All manuscripts shall be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
** Font: Times New Roman, 12 point, double-line spaced for the body text and 10 point, single-line spaced for the footnotes.
** Headings: Please indicate the level of the section headings in your article:
** First-level headings (e.g. Introduction, Conclusion) should be in bold, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns. First-level headings should be numbered 1, 2, 3, etc.
** Second-level headings should be in bold italics, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns. Second-level headings should be numbered 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.
** Third-level headings should be in italics, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns. Third-level headings should be numbered 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, etc.

Author details: Please include all authors` full names, academic degrees, affiliations and email addresses.
