The position is assigned in the Georgia Resident Mission (GRM) within the Central and West Asia Department (CWRD). CWRD is responsible for maintaining client relations and delivering ADB assistance to countries in the Central and West Asia region. GRM executes the country partnership strategy and coordinates ADB operations in the Georgia.

Job Purpose:

The Associate Finance and Administration Coordinator will assist in the areas of human resource administration, logistics, and assist in general office administration, and contractual personnel administration. The incumbent will report to designated International Staff and Senior National Staff.


** Assist in personnel administration function by planning and overseeing work of contractual staff, processing staff benefits, handling overtime, leave, attendance and related tasks.
** File HR related documents in personnel files and keep updated record in relevant staff files.
** Ensure work area`s logistical requirements such as room/office space, computer/office equipment, furniture, security and inventory of property, office supplies are met through coordination with relevant ADB departments/offices
** Liaise with host government agencies to facilitate and follow up on requests for tax exemption, issuance and renewal of clearances, permits, tax exemption documentation for relevant staff.
** Coordinate with internal and external contacts to collect information, ensure adherence with contracts, agreements, Bank`s policies and procedures by maintaining records on status of compliance, initiating follow up actions and ensuring timely completion of expected results; resolves non-routine procedural and technical queries from internal and external sources.
** Assist in maintaining Resident Mission`s assets record in the system and display proper tagging on equipment/furniture.
** Maintain and manages filing system on finance/administrative matters.
** Perform any other tasks as required by the Country Director and/or designated international staff.

Relevant Experience & Requirements:

** Bachelor`s degree in accounting, business administration, or economics, preferably with a Master`s degree.
** At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
** Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Georgian.
** Good coordination and interpersonal skills
** Proficient in spreadsheets and required information technologies
** Has analytical proficiency and strong numerical skills
** Able to liaise and work effectively with counterparts in the country and within ADB.

General Considerations:

The selected candidate is appointed for an initial term of 3 years.
