Stamba Hotel will open its doors in 2017 and is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Waiter/Waitress.

Department: Food and Beverage Department
Reports to: Restaurant Supervisor

Position scope:

Job purpose of waiter/waitress is to take orders from clients, serve food and beverages, set tables and permanently verify if visitors are satisfied. Overall responsibility includes providing high-quality service, have good knowledge of food and beverage ingredients and cooking methods.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

** Work experience in related field will be considered an advantage;
** Education in Food and Beverage field will be considered an advantage;
** Fluent English is required, any additional languages will be considered an advantage;
** Sound knowledge of Food and Beverage products;
** Ability to work in a team;
** Excellent communication skills;
** Efficient control of several simultaneous tasks;
** Tidy and positive appearance;
** Attentive to details.


** Take orders from visitors and ensure that orders are served on time;
** Inform customers about Daily Specials;
** Explain how various dishes from menu are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods;
** Check customer satisfaction during their meals and take action in case of a problem;
** Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware;
** Implement cleaning schedule/procedures as required;
** Delegate and escort customers to their tables;
** In case of complaints inform Restaurant/Bar Supervisor. Manage misconduct from guests.
** Maintain a positive expression with a smile.


** Hotel`s Fire, Health and Safety Procedures.
** To maintain international food safety functions.
