Stamba Hotel will open its doors in Fall 2017 and is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Barman.

Position scope:

Job purpose of a barman is to serve customers, make them feel welcome, secure and relaxed. Overall responsibility includes high quality service, checking for visitors, creativity and ability to exploit sales opportunities.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

** Work experience in related field is required;
** Education in Food and Beverage field is considered as a plus;
** Fluent English is required, any additional languages considered as a plus;
** Sound knowledge of Food and Beverage products;
** Ability to work in teams;
** Excellent communication skills;
** Attentive enough to control several tasks simultaneously;
** Clean and positive appearance;
** Attentive to details;

Responsibilities:

** Take orders and ensure food and beverage is served as required;
** Ability to describe ingredients of the beverages to the visitors;
** Inform customers about daily specials;
** Ability to maintain a two way communication with different types of customers;
** Operate POS ensuring orders are posted, bills are cashed or signed for, payment is received or posted to guest rooms;
** Keep the bar free of dirty glasses and crockery;
** Implement closing procedures ensuring bar area is secure;
** Implement cleaning schedule/procedures as required;
** Make every effort to maximise sales opportunities;

** In case of complaints inform Restaurant/Bar Supervisor. Rectify wrong doing and any guest demands;
** Always have a positive expression with the smile;

General:

** Hotel`s Fire, Health and Safety Procedures.
** To maintain international food safety functions.
