MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS GEORGIA LLC - Carrefour Georgia offers the unique opportunity for employment and career development by opening the vacancy for the position of Assets Manager

Duties and responsibilities:

** Participate to the elaboration of the strategy for country development programs and support its application
** Adapt all specifications and ensure the best standardization (quality, quantity, time to buy and deliver, right place)
** Coordination with all related departments (Commercial, Assets, Finance, Legal, Security, DOSI etc.) the execution of new projects from the definition of assets to completion
** Ensure a proper organizing to be able to respect the opening schedule
** Ensure supplies, materials, and services of the right quality in the right quantity at the right time from the right place at the right cost
** Negotiate the best buying conditions respecting the volume concept and the value for money
** Respect & Guarantee the actual procedures and process in procurement in accordance with the D.O.A.
** Ensure the respect of budget /forecasts & take necessary appropriate measures when necessary
** Propose plans to decrease the cost of assets
** Evaluate and propose actions to optimize costs on assets requirement
** Manage the Supplier performance analysis to ensure and help to improve the service and quality level of our partners (monitoring, benchmark tools)
** Develop and maintain professional, impartial and efficient relationships with suppliers in accordance with the conflict of interest policy
** Stay informed about the competitions actions and take appropriate measures
** Maintain proper documentation for all relative fields of responsibility
** Evaluate and propose action plans to increase profitability and productivity
** Participate in any special projects/action that the organization and the management set in accordance with assets managers abilities and expertise


** Minimum 2 year working experience on managerial position;
** Needs to be from assets/procurement background
** Supermarket background in assets/maintenance management preferred.
** Managerial skills, working experience on managerial position will be an advantage;
** Knowledge of English is obligatory;
** Knowledge of computer office programs is a must;
** Excellent organizational and time management skills;
** Attention to details and ability to complete the tasks to assigned deadlines;
** Strong sense of responsibility, diligence and discipline;
** Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure;
** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
** Self-motivation, initiative and team player.
